The West Tower is a development by Brandywine Realty Trust, as a part of the Schuylkill yards neighborhood. I created the brand identity, brochure, website, ground-breaking invitation, and other promotional items.

Design Inspiration

Unlike most of the projects, where I start with the logo/identity, then apply that identity to the marketing materials, I had a tight deadline with this project and I had to begin with the brochure while developing the identity as I go. This was done until a decision was made for the name of the tower.

Brochure

I started the brochure with the only concrete things I had: building's architecture/design, the location, the history of the site (where a railway turntable once sat on the land), and proximity to 30th Street Station.

The building's design is a bold point of focus between the other glass tower facades on the skyline. My goal for the brochure was to complement the bold design, while still keeping it clean and contemporary. I used mainly black and red throughout the brochure; Black to match The West Tower's façade, and red to accent it (just like the red East Tower accents the West Tower). I also brought in historical context, nodding to the railway turntable that once sat on the land, by introducing industrial/modern elements throughout the brochure via fonts and design.

Invitation & Swag Bag

The below materials are only a concept that I decided to create, with unused design materials for brochure covers & patterns. Make sure to swipe left so you can see the inspiration behind these designs!
